Legendary Formula 1 designer Adrian Newey has made a worrying claim regarding Red Bull Racing ahead of the 2025 season, which could impact Max Verstappen's future. During the 2024 campaign, Verstappen had to dig deep into his resources as Red Bull suffered a surprising dip in form.

Adrian Newey is not known for his spectacular statements. However, with some comments he has provided a more than interesting look at the internal situation at Red Bull Racing, words that suggest Max Verstappen should be worried about his chances next season.

Verstappen still managed to win the Drivers' Championship but his father Jos believes it will be tougher in 2025 without Newey running the show behind the scenes. "I'm a little doubtful," said Jos. " Red Bull needs to build a car that is more predictable in all conditions. Looking at the second half of 2024, you can't be optimistic.
