Cincinnati Bengals wideout Ja’Marr Chase made an interesting comment during an interview at the Pro Bowl that hinted at some of the problems around the team this past season. While the interview hit the glitzy stuff like whether his contract extension will surpass Justin Jefferson’s numbers, he also fielded a question about the team’s slow start.

Ja'Marr Chase chatted with voices on the Sirius XM NFL channel this past week and touched on his looming contract negotiations along with his buddy's, Tee Higgins. Both are worthy of big deals this offseason and in Chase's case a possible record-setting number.

Ja'Marr Chase is one of the best receivers in the NFL. You know this. I know this. The Cincinnati Bengals know this. Chase is also extension-eligible this offseason, and he's looking for a new contract.
