A Washington County judge has found Kristofer Robert Layne Eye to be a sexually violent predator and sentenced him to life, with the possibility of parole after 25 years.

As of this week, there are roughly 1,800 registered sex offenders in Allegheny County. Around 40 of them or 2% are transient.
